If you’re looking for the BAPI for uploading journal entry documents to SAP, try: BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST
This BAPI should allow you to post your documents, but like everything, it will take some work to get it running. We used a custom T-code based on this BAPI for a while, and it was not perfect. One problem we had was that it didn’t validate material numbers when we uploaded them in the entries.
You may save yourself a lot of time and pain by going with a 3rd party tool such as ZOption or WinShuttle. Hope this saves you a couple of aspirin!

ZOption’s excel upload solution works !
SAP is no comparison to this method, and as such I find this post very interesting indeed. WinShuttle is also heavily recommended.
You might want to review how it has been done by Process Runner, which automatically splits these documents (FB01, FB50 or even sales order of purchase order to smaller chuncks), balances them (if required) and post them – all without any ABAP.. check this out at http://it.toolbox.com/wiki/index.php/Process_Runner or at http://www.innowera.com/sapfi.html. The best of all, it will work without installing anything in your SAP system and works with intercompany FBS1 transaction as well. You can get free trial copy and test this out yourself.
